Nuestra edición, precedida de una introducción de Eduardo Haro Tecglen, en donde estudia la producción y la vida de Fernando Fernán-Gómez, se completa con un apéndice documental y propuestas de lectura de la obra, una de las más importantes de la literatura dramática española.
